Headquarters of the Miodino

The new offices in Portogruaro facing the factory underline the new dynamics of the group, through a linear and transparent architecture, a communicative filter between the outside and the world of production. The materials used, the architecture and the organization of the interiors mirror the present-day policy of development in a company that was born of the carpentry sector, and today is strongly characterized by the use of environmentally-friendly, state-of-the-art technologies.
The offices and the representative premises on the ground floor support the huge projecting volume of the upper floor. Here event and conference halls are located on the one side and the executive offices on the other. The roof has openings where more light is needed and, besides hosting the photovoltaic structures, it ensures a more precise formal definition of all the spaces.
The horizontality effect of the building is strengthened by the presence of water, a significant architectural element of the old town of Portogruaro. Together with vegetation and the local stone covering it, it defines the spaces of the whole structure by interacting with the steel and the glass in balanced relation.
